A Day in the Life of an AVS Student

Ever wondered what a typical day looks like at Atithi Vriksha Shiksha? From morning grooming checks to evening practice sessions, our students follow a structured routine that mirrors real hotel operations.

Morning: 8:00 AM – Theory & Foundations

The day begins with a grooming inspection — a habit that stays with our graduates throughout their careers. Students then attend theory classes covering food science, hospitality management, communication skills, and digital literacy.

Mid-Morning: 10:30 AM – Practical Training

This is where the magic happens. Students move to our training kitchen, mock restaurant, or front office lab depending on their specialization. Here, they practice everything from knife skills and plating to guest check-in procedures and table service.

Afternoon: 2:00 PM – Industry Exposure

Afternoons are dedicated to industry visits, guest lectures from hotel GMs, or extended practical sessions. This real-world exposure is what sets AVS graduates apart in job interviews.

Evening: 4:00 PM – Self-Study & Practice

Students use this time for assignments, recipe practice, or preparing for upcoming assessments and certifications.

It’s intensive, practical, and designed to make our students job-ready from day one.
